Us

Based in Cape Town, SVR Design is led by Design Director Sam Muir. Sam is a registered professional architect, and is passionate about interior spaces. She graduated as an architect in 2004, from the University of Cape Town, and thereafter worked for some of South Africa’s leading architectural companies, including the Paragon Architect Group & Metropolis Design. Her corporate projects include Absa Capital, Nashua Head Office, Norton Rose Fulbright & Virgin Money. She has also worked on a large number of luxury homes & boutique hotels in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Gaborone, Kuala Lumpur & Lagos.

Sam pursued a solo career in 2009, using her experience as a qualified architect and her keen eye for interiors, each project reflects her love of form, texture and spatial understanding.
